Mrs. Townsend is the wife of Brad Townsend; mother of Elizabeth, John, and Katherine; and mother-in-law of Tony.

Mrs. Townsend attended Lincoln Land Community College and the University of Illinois-Springfield;A.S. degree in Math and a B.A. degree in Psychology.  She began teaching at St Paul in 2003.
