Mrs. Barb Palmer graduated from Concordia University, Mequon, WI, with a degree in Elemetary Education and a minor in speech communication and adaptive education.. Mrs. Palmer has also team-taught 1^st grade in East Troy, Wisconsin, 4^th grade in Hartland, WI, 3rd and 4th grade combination in Springfield IL., and spent two years teaching second grade in St. Louis MO. . She is happy to now be at St. Paul and closer to her family, who hail from Wisconsin.

Mrs. Palmer describes herself as “Christian, Caring and Cheerful,” and loves to see the kids smile when they learn something new. In addition to wrangling the 1^st grade, she will lead the Cherub Choir with Mrs. Graf, assist in the planning of Lutheran Schools Week and assist the Study Buddies Program.

In her free time Mrs. Palmer has several hobbies. She loves to read books, and share that love of reading with her students. Mrs. Palmer also loves crafts, with her favorite being counted cross stitch. Last but not least one can not forget her love to clog an American Folk Dance.
