WorkCamp is an opportunity for youth to spend a week working with other Christian youth improving a community and sharing God’s love with those in need.  Our congregation meets with hundreds of other youth and adults to work on between 50-80 homes in need of repair.

This year from June 27th to July 3rd we will be participating at a WorkCamp in Mt. Vernon, IL.  Mt. Vernon is four hours south of Chicago.  It is a struggling community where over 70% of the children in public school are on the assisted lunch program.  In recent years, devastating storms have ravaged the area, leaving the poorest of the community with home repair costs far beyond their means.
