Sunday September 12th is National "Back
to Church Sunday" - What a great opportunity to
invite someone you haven't seen in a while, or someone new
to come "Back" to church!
What does the Lutheran Church teach and believe?
If you are wondering about what the Lutheran Church believes and/or are interested in joining the Lutheran Church we invite you to join us for two Saturday mornings where we will look at what we teach and believe as Lutheran Christians. These two classes will be informal; we will have coffee and pastries as we study and share together. Upon completion of the classes those who are interested will be taken into membership at St. Paul. There is absolutely no obligation to become a member just because you took the course. Everyone is welcome even if you are Lutheran and a member and just want to refresh your memories. This class will be offered Saturday September 25th and Saturday October 2nd from 8AM to 12 noon. |
We have started our Family Bible Hour classes, and we encourage your whole family to join us Sundays from 9:30 to 10:30. Here are a few important notes…
· Jr. and Sr. High classes will not start until September 12th.
· 1st-6th grade students who can say the books of the Bible will get a gift certificate for ice cream at Dairy Queen, and when they fill their scrapbooks they will get a $5 gift card to Boarders.
The Men's Bible Study will meet every other Wednesday at 7:00pm in the youth room.

What is Stephen Ministry?
Stephen Ministry is grounded in Jesus’ love for us. Because He loves us so much that He suffered and died for us, we follow His command to love one another. Through one-to-one caring relationships, those who are hurting receive the love and care they need to support them.
Is life more than you or someone you know can handle alone right now?
-
Are your (or someone you know) health, attitude, or relationships suffering?
-
Are you adjusting to a new job, a change in marital status, a serious illness, the death of a loved one, a recent move?
-
Would you like to have someone in your life who really cares?
Everyone goes through difficult times. Having someone to care, to listen, to share God’s love with you can help you get through the confusion, stress, or loneliness you may be experiencing. If you or someone you know is hurting, talk with our Stephen Leader Dorothy Kernan. She can talk to you about how we can connect you or the person you know with one of our Stephen Ministers. For more information contact Dorothy Kernan nanrekd@gmail.com.
